I won't buy one because I have a new driver (TM r7, the first brand new driver I've bought in 18 years), and besides... I think they are positively hideous. I won't be playing golf long enough in this lifetime to ever wrap my mind around something as obscene as the Nike Sumo.
But I don't really have an opinion... |
Ok... I'm eating crow... tasty too.

I couldn't hit the wall of a barn from the inside with my R7, so I traded it in on a Callaway FTi. Played 18 holes today and hit 7 of the 10 fairways I used it on. No contest. I was consistently hitting it 270 yards, and in the short grass. It doesn't have the hideous clank of the Sumo 2, but still seems to give one the same advantages.
