The reason is you will be able to compress the ball better, which in turn allows the ball to come off the club head with more speed. Speed = Distance.
Try the Precept Lady's, they are back in stock now. Dunlop Loco's are also a lower compression ball. Lady Pinnacles.
Far too many men golfers think they should be using the ProV 1X. However that ball requires a high swing speed to compress it. If you are not compressing the ball properly then you are giving up distance.
Experiment with different low compression balls until you find one you like and then stick with it all year long. You will soon learn how far that ball flies with your irons etc, and that will make you a better golfers. |
