| Too whippy a flex would cause shots to slice or pull, it shouldn't have any affect on loft. If you can't get the ball up, it would seem to me that your hitting the ball at or above the ball's equator, almost topping it, although with those big tees that should be a hard task to accomplish. Try moving the ball back in your stance and put the tee in line with the heel of the left foot. If that doesn't help, I'd strongly suggest you talk to your club pro.
