| irons: graphite or steel?
i'm relatively new to the game (two years into it). i got a set of X-18 irons last year and love them. this year, i bought an approach wedge which has become invaluable to my game.
the thing is, i got an X-18 52degree with a graphite shaft and it gives a whole different feel to my swing (in a good way).
i've been trying to find as much info as possible about the pros and cons with graphite shafts on irons but there doesn't seem to be much out there.
i have a super-dooper hook-up where i can get a set of the new X-20's with graphite shafts for just a little more than it would cost to get my X-18s reshafted.
i'm very tempted but don't want to throw away $450!
