| If it is just raining then there should be no delay. Play on.
If there is lightning that is a different story. Does your course have access to an online computer? If so you can check the weather online and see if the rain is just a small cell passing over or a large cell.
If large, wait an hour IMO and then call the event off and refund any cash that was put towards the prizes.
Rain should not be a factor, but lightning kills and should be treated accordingly.
