| I used to have a problem with anything bigger then an 8 iron, till I stopped trying to hit them a mile. I've adopted a 3/4 philosphy this year, don't hit any iron using more then a 3/4 swing. If I reach a point with a club where its at its max swing distance, I just use the next bigger club. Along with that I talk to myself just before I swing, "Relax, let the arms loosen up", ever since my iron game has improved ten fold. I dont hit it a mile, but I dont skull, shank or top my shot any more. Try it, it might work for you too...
