| The G5's would work just fine. Actually, almost any casted cavity back would do. You might also look for a set of Tommy Armour 845's on Ebay. You can buy them for almost nothing. This is amazing since they are considered classics in terms of design and playability. I would suggest starting off with steel shafts. Better feedback to your hands so you can feel what you're doing right and doing wrong.
Concentrate on developing a good swing with a good swing routine. Learning how to hit a ball correctly is more important than what you will be hitting it with. The best investment you could make, in my opinion, would be a copy of Ben Hogan's Five Lessons. Best of Luck. |
