Ray Cook putters may not be in the "elite price range" of putters anymore, but rest assure you've got a quality putter head there. Ray Cook putters use to be the tour prefered putter back in the 70's /80's. One thing about Ray Cook Putters is they are immaculately balanced. The balance on these putters is nothing short of great. My grandfather, before he passed, used his circa 1977 Ray Cook M-1 putter (a mallet style putter) and when he passed I got it. I currently use a Yes! Golf Diana putter custom weighted, custom gripped and custom shaft. The only reason I don't use the Ray Cook M-1 putter is because it's a sentiment piece. Plus everytime I've brought it into a golf shop, they all want to buy it from me. It has the original grip and shaft and works very very very well. If your putter works well for you, but you want to customize it to your specific playing needs, you may eventually want to have it custom weighted for 'You'( a good golf pro shop or store could help you with that), and maybe regrip it with the grip of your choice. Other than that, you've got a club there - IMO.
