| I play a set of ISI copper heads. The reason I stick with them is the feel. There is definitely some heft at the end of the shaft. They come with steel shafts. Graphite would throw off the swing weight according to Ping. Distance is not the reason you purchase these irons, or any irons for that matter. Its a matter of feedback to your hands and the confidence to control your shots. My only issue with copper is that I can't find anyone, including Ping, that will re-groove the faces so I have to do it myself. |
