We were on vacation, so it's relative. The guys I played with are my college buddies and all are married like myself. We all had the wives' nod on this one, guys; as long as we tee'd out early enough.

We live in the LA basin. On any given day, despite the numerous golf courses we have, our metropolitan population of 11 million does have a dramatic impact on all the golf courses anywhere around us. For the guys that are on a 40 hr/wk work schedule, it's tough to get off midweek and play golf. Unless you don't mind spending 7 hours average to play a round, then it's easy to find courses that cost only 40-50 bucks.

Otherwise...

btw - I've played Trump National. You can check their green fees online, and Cabo del Sol, IMO, is still way above Trump's course; and they don't even additionally charge a silly fee called 'Green Fee' Tax ($80.00) like Donald does.

Torrey Pines, Pebble Beach, and even Pelican Hill doesn't even come close to this course. But that's just my personal opinion.

Anyway, Cabo Del Sol really is a phenomenal golf course.
