The 23 year old left hander cared a four under par 66 at the Hurlingham Golf Club in Buenos Aries to move to 11 under par 199, three shots ahead of Argentina’s Martín Monguzzi and four ahead of second round leader Stephen Browne.
Monguzzi kept himself in the running with a level par 70 on day three, while Browne, despite a three over par 73, is still very much in contention to win a third Challenge Tour title.
Argentina’s Estanislao Goya, winner of the Abierto de Centro last Sunday, is still in the hunt after his own 70 saw him join England’s David Horsey on six under 204.
