| 2006 runner-up Inkster in final group 31-time LPGA Tour winner Juli Inkster shot the low round of the week on Saturday to move into solo second place at the SemGroup Championship Presented by John Q. Hammons. The 2006 SemGroup Championship runner-up fired a 4-under 67 to move to 1-under-par (72-73-67=212) heading into Sunday's final round at Cedar Ridge.
Inkster will tee off at 12:52 p.m. alongside final-round leader and U.S. Solheim Cup team partner Paula Creamer. With a win on Sunday, the 47-year-old Inkster would become the oldest winner in LPGA Tour history (Beth Daniel – 46 years, 8 months, 29 days). Her last victory came at the 2006 Safeway International Presented by Coca-Cola. She lost in a one-hole, sudden-death playoff to Mi Hyun Kim last year in Tulsa. |
