| Hetherington shoots 4-under par 67, ties season-low score for a round
In round two of the Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic Presented by Kroger, Rachel Hetherington fired a 4-under par 67 for the second time this season (first round of the Sybase Classic), going into the weekend at 7-under (68-67). The Australian started the day on the front nine strong with birdies on one, two and six, before making the turn with a 3-under score. The back nine showed consistency with a birdie on 15, settling for par on the rest.
The 12-year Tour veteran won at Highland Meadows Golf Club back in 2002, and looks to improve upon her best finish so far this season which was a tie for 24th at the Stanford International Pro-Am. |
