Defending champion Pak moves to 5-under thru two rounds of play

Five-time Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic Presented by Kroger winner Se Ri Pak is 5-under par (68-69=137) entering the weekend. Pak started the front nine with a bogey on one before making birdies on four and eight. After the turn, the 24-time LPGA Tour winner made two birdies and a bogey en route to 2-under-par 69 for the day.

The LPGA and World Golf Hall of Famer is going for a record sixth win in 11 tries at Jamie Farr this week. The win would break the record she currently holds with Mickey Wright (Sea Island Open, 1957-58, 1960, 1962-63) and Annika Sorenstam (Mizuno Classic, 2001-05; Samsung World Championship, 1995-96, 2002, 2004-05) as the only players in LPGA Tour history to win the same event five times (1998-99, 2001, 2003, 2007). Last year's edition of the Jamie Farr saw Pak hold off a surging Morgan Pressel on the final day to claim her fifth victory in Toledo.
