| Round of the day goes to Futcher
Third-year LPGA Tour member Katie Futcher's 8-under-par 64 (70-64=134) marked not just a career-low round, but it was also the best of the day at the LPGA State Farm Classic. Futcher (70-64=134, -10) doubled her birdie production from Thursday's first round with eight on Friday en route to a bogey-free round. Entering the weekend tied for seventh place, the Texas native is on pace to record her first top-10 finish of the 2008 LPGA Tour season. |
