Australian Nick Flanagan fired a 7-under 63 to surge into a tie for the lead with Sweden's Richard Johnson on Friday after two rounds of the PGA Tour's U.S. Bank Championship in Milwaukee.
Flanagan and Johnson were tied at 10-under-par 130, one stroke better than American Kent Jones and Australian Gavin Coles, who had eight birdies in a bogey-free round of 62 for his low round on the U.S. Tour.
Jon Mills of Oshawa, Ont., shot his second straight 2-under 68 and is tied for 35th.
