| I'm pretty sure that a new ball would be almost true or very near as perfect as manufacturing tolerances will allow..
I think I'll do a little experiment next spring: Using one brand new ball and then re-checking it after each round to see how long it'll take to deform. Truly it won't be very sceintific but it'll be neat to see what happens to different brands of balls.
