I will admit that I sometimes change golf balls when it gets cold. However I am talking about COLD WEATHER. Such as tempatures 5C and below. (Yes I play golf in weather like that!)

During the normal golf season I play Titleist NXT Tour's. Not because I got caught up in the commercial hype, but simply because I like that ball.
During cold weather I will swtich to Dunlop Loco's if I can find them. If not, I play my NXT Tour.

People are correct when they say one ball might not do it all for them.
However the rules state you must play the same brand of ball during your round. Years ago on the PGA (Before 95% of you guys were born ) some pros were playing one piece balls on long Par 3's. Reason being they wanted to hit less iron so they used the longer one piece balls on those holes. The PGA and USGA changed the rules to eliminate that.

As I stated earlier by playing one ball all the time you learn how far it flies with your iron shots. That is more important than standing there bashing 300+ yard drives all day. Plus let's be honest, most of us do not average 300+ off the tee. When you consider the PGA's big hitters are just over that yardage.

However, if you know your iron distances with a certain ball then you are going to start scoring better. Plus you will putt better as you will know how that ball comes off the face of your putter.

Titleist, TopFlite, Dunlop, whatever ball you use doesn't matter. The most important thing is how many stokes it takes to get it from the tee to the bottom of the cup!
