| HiBore, yay or nay? Hey guys
I'm thinking about buying a new driver and I'm starting from scratch on my research. I have heard a lot of good things about the Callaway X Tour, the Nike SQ 460, and the Taylormade r7, but I really want to hear about the Cleveland HiBore. I have yet to try one out but before I do, I like some objective opinions. Can anyone help me out?
Thanks |

| Thanks for the opinion.
And another sub-question....
Do you think eBay is a good place to buy clubs? There is a lot of great deals out there but I don't know how trusting I am of them. What do you think? |

| As a beginning golfer, I think it is a good club. It has a solid sound and a nice feel. During the honeymoon period, all of the shots were going straight despite some off centered shots. It has a commanding sound when hit properly.
Right now, I am working on trying to stay consistent with playing so I have deferred to the 3 and 5 woods to stay safely on the fairway.

| If you can deal with the look it is a good club, however the R7, G5 and SQ tour all perform as well or better and have a more traditional look

I have bought numerous clubs from ebay, look into the sellers past sales before you buy from them, I have had all good experiences.

| Nike Ignite 450 So I've been looking around and I think I have decided on a 9.5* Nike Ignite 450 with a Fujikura Graphite Stiff Shaft. Does anyone now about this little gem? And the best news of all is that I found it on ebay for only $90! |

| OK OK OK..... I know I'm going back and forth on this but I finally bought a driver. I found a brand new Nike SQ 460 9.5* with a Mitsubishi Diamana Stiff Flex Shaft. Needless to say, I am thoroughly excited.
I was just cruising eBay looking at a Titleist 904F 4 wood when I found it, still wrapped, for only $125 with only 8 min left in the auction. Call it a calling or not, but I thought it was so I bid on it and got it for $151. I have heard a lot of good things about the SQ 460 and since I wanted a forgiving 9.5* 460 with a stiff shaft, I feel comfortable in my decision. I wish I could've hit one before I purchased it, but I've never heard anything bad about them and I couldn't pass up that good of a deal. We'll see what happens when I use it.... |
