so what are your thoughts on this driver? i kno the hibore is pretty ugly to most of u out there but iono... im going to buy a new driver so i was wondering what ur guys thoughts were on this

I tried the regular XL, very good club..I would prefer a more distance oriented club, but this is definently long, and most importantly straight!

I tested one, and it's better than the old Hi-Bore.
Great Distance and quite forgiving!

I love the look of the HiBore XL from the bottom, and I don't mind the concave shape of the crown too much. Looks don't bother me I guess. I would be much more likely to like a club because of its appearance than to dislike a club for the same reason. Sound on the other hand, I loathed the Callaway X 460 I had for that very reason.

I actually have the original HiBore... I don't mind the looks, and like the XL looks even more.

If you hit it well, and can get used to the shape, that should be what determines what you get... IMHO.

yeah... i decided to get the hibore but i wasnt hitting it well at the range at all, so my dad got me some lead strips and he added it to the top of the head. ive been hitting it a lot more accurate and farther so im liking it. plus i got it on sale for 185 so i bought it. iono if thats good where u guys come from but it was a bargain where i was.
