Callaway FT-5 vs. HiBore XL

Hey,

Callaway just came out with FT-5 driver, and so does Cleveland HibOre XL.

Both drivers looks Good on paper. Has anyone tried them both?
Any comment?

Never tried the Ft-5..but I have hit the Hibore XL before, at a demo. It is much better than the old Hibore. It has a slightly closed face for added workability, and anti slice. The distance problems with the old one, seem to be fixed with this one. Accurate as a laser beam..you can easily pick your spots, with this club.

anti slice and picking spots are more your swing than the club

I personally dont even think you can compare these two. The FT-5 in my opinion is a ton better then the hibore. The only problem I have with it is the price. Ive hit both at demo's and have played with the FT-5 on the course, id go with the FT-5 if you have the money.

Ok, i've hit the FT-5 briefly..now I can say what's really on my mind..Personally, I like the FT-5 better..If you are like me, then you will have a draw with the Hibore..but I smacked 6 balls in a row, dead straight with the FT-5. Not to mention, the distance was there. If you have the money, go with the Cally!

I love that driver too but as it stands I play the TM burner right now and am very happy. Thanks though.

That's half true..but fact is that a closed face reduces the slice..but gives you a hook instead..for most people anyway.
