| Thanks. Nice reviews. You can really bomb it, damn. I had no idea the Red Hot Chilli Pepper driver was so good. I was about to get it but thought it was gonna be a rip off. Did you put your own shaft in it or was it custom? |

I find there to be some durability issues with the RHCP. One little mishit, and it tends to dent. (I'm talking like a little to high, or a little towards the heel.) I had a member PM me about this a while back, and I said I didn't have an issues yet.. so sorry bro, it appears you were right about that.. If you hit the sweetspot every time though, this thing is absolutely unbeatable. I shafted it with a XS 76g. V2 Midkick, when I bought it.
I have decided to officialy retire this club, as I decided it's power is to great, and I don't need that much go in a club, so I am going down to the next best thing, and switching to a driver that will ease off a bit, and have better durability. Let's face it, I don't need help with distance, I'd be fine with a wood one.. if I could stand the feel.. |

| I test hit the r7, the rapture, and the Sumo (last years, non-square) and found that I was hitting the r7 the worst out of all of them. The rapture averaged 6 yards further than the sumo, and the sumo was about 268-280 and consistantly straight. 5-10 yrds within the target line.
I got ahold of one the other day an put it 15 yards past the "cart path only" sign on a 341 yrd. par 4 - Im guessing it went all of 290-300.
Today I was on UNDER regulation on a short par 4 (268). It felt nice to have that much control. The Sumo definately isn't the best sounding driver, but it goes straight for me; for the most part.
I've watched my game go from 100+ to mid to high 80's in the past 2 months.

| I just got my Burner in the mail on Monday. I've been real busy at work this week but i did manage an hour @ the range and a quick 18 holes after work yesterday. So far I really like this driver and once i get use to the longer shaft i'm sure i will "love" this driver. At the course yesterday i was amazed how much longer i was hitting, on the #1 handicap hole (405 yards, uphill drive, ditch in front of the green) I was left with a 125 yard PW for my approach shot, normally i'm faced with a 165 yard 6 iron or even worse a hybrid if i get my normal deep fade from the tee. I even hit my longest tee shot ever.....350 yards!!! the drive was pushed to the right and carried about 260 yards the rest was all cart path . With my old driver i was averaging about 260 yards off the tee, now I'm carrying 260!.
Anyway, I'm about to hit the course, so i'll post back later with a better review of this beast.
Chief.

| OK i'm back and I just love this driver. I'm hitting 9/10 fairways and i'm averaging around 275 yards (I hit one 290 ). I still find the shaft a little long and I tend to block the ball right but it's getting better every round. It's just so easy to hit long with this driver.
Maybe my new found accuracy has a lot to do with my recent lessons but having this driver in your bag can only help your confidence, and your scores.
