Need Help With New Driver

I just bought a Cleveland Hi-Bore driver (had callaway steelhead plus for several years)thing is im not getting as much distance as i think i should be on a good hit it goes 220-240 wich is what i got with the old driver.my question is i tend to slice it most of the time could it be the shaft is too long? i know my swing isnt perfect but with my 3,5 and 7 woods i useally hit it straight.or should i get lessons?launch moniter?any info would be a great help.by the way the driver is9.5 deg Fujikura reg flex low kick point if this matters thanx

I think if you took a Callaway, Ping, TaylorMade, Nike, Titleist, Tour Edge and your Cleveland drivers and had them all fitted to you, there might be a 5 yard difference between the whole bunch. Its swing speed that gives you yardage, not cost price. I definitely would take the Cleveland into your local fitter and have adjusted to your specs, it may not give you a whole lot more yardage but it will definitely give you better shot control.
