| Sold Superquad for Burner... I recently sold my 9.5 Superquad because I was spraying the ball everywhere with that club. I never felt comfortable with it at all. Also, I was hitting the ball extremely low.
I bought a 10.5 Burner and it feels much better however, now I'm hitting the damn ball too high! I should have gone with the 9.5 but decided against it.
I'm now thinking about switching to a different shaft to lower the flight of the ball. Does anyone know if that will help or should I just find a 9.5 somewhere? |

| Check the KICK POINT of the new shaft it could have a low kick point shaft resulting in added loft. See if the dealer has a high kick point shaft in a Burner, the launch monitor should tell you if thats your problem.

| could you give the spec of your Superburner? i hit that club the other day, a 9.5 even. i'm curious which shaft it is, and whether its 'standard issue' for that driver model.
thanks and good luck in your quest. shaft fitting scares me because that means you HAVE TO HAVE the same driver swing from day to day. |

| If you would have bought the club at a Nevada Bob's store you could take it back and exchange it. Also the guy at mine he knew which shaft and loft I needed. I could see not buying one there if you didn't have a store near you, but if you do I wouldn't buy golf clubs anywhere else. Today I tryed out the r7 Draw and I liked it and plan on getting it, just need to save up the money, good thing my birthday is coming up.

| Burner shafts Hi - Burner's only come with one type a shaft - it's the Taylormade - Fujikara "re-ax" design - it's a super lite shaft wieghing at only 50 grams. I Burner 10.5 - i wasa thinking down the line of re-shafting it - i do hit it high but also long and straight and the other day I took it over some trees on a dog leg and found my ball 10 yards to the green in the middle of the fairway so height isnt the worst problem in the world - IMHO

Sandwedge, I'm suprised you're not hanging out spectating the last day of the Barclays, since your so close to the course.

Well my brotha, all things work out to 'His' plan (just my belief), so I hope you work it out in whatever way you have to. On the other end of things, I also work in Music ( I won't elaborate here in public; PM me if you want), and I also love to golf obviously. 87...not a bad score at all, if I can say so myself. Talk to you soon
