Driver input

I just bought a used Sumo (non-square)9.5, and the guy that read the test-swings, and sold me the club really wasn't much help. I tend not to trust a persons input if they're in the position to sell me something.
Anyways, I have a swing speed of between 101-103 *depending on where I get it tested.
Does that swing speed warrant the use of a stiff-flex shaft or what?
I seem to be hitting it decent.
I was using a King Cobra SS with 9 deg. loft. and once I got used to it, and realized I had to come thru the ball with a high club speed I was hitting it really long, and straight for the most part. I bought the Sumo, and expected to lose a little distance, but gain in accuracy. This hasn't been true for the most part. I am slicing more, and the distance on a good shot is still teetering on high 280's-300.
Any help out there?

If your slicing now, thats usually a sign that the flex of the club is too soft, the head is not catching up at impact.
