Distance with the Hibore is about even, the Hibore gives me more cary but the 907 give much more roll. I think once I work out the kinks the 907 will be longer but I'll have to put in some more practice. For right now when it comes to score and match play I'd have to keep the Hibore because of the predictabillity and confidence level but I would be lying if I said I didn't expect the 907 to replace it eventually. I deffinitley have to have it regripped soon and like I mentioned above am considerring reshafting as well, the X-Stiif proforce on the 907 may be a bit much for me and it is heavier than the shaft in the Hibore 76g Vs 66g.
AJ,

Very cool. I would reshaft it regardless. Graphite shafts from the club manufacturer never ever flex true. Aftermarket shafts do.

Golf Magazine

Have you fellas seen last months edition of golf magazine? In it they have a test of 6 drivers, guess which one came out on top. That's right the Titleist 907 D2.

I honestly think you will have much better results with a stiff shaft (proforce V2) as compared to the xstiff, like I said earlier I went from an XS in my R7 to the proforce V2 stiff in my D2 and I hit it farther with lots of control.(very workable)

I have been hitting the D2 for a couple of weeks now, and that club is beast. The club is long, sets up beautifully, and the misses are just a couple of paces off the fairway. Seems like I am constantly setting new personal records off the tee, without having to grunt. Really sets the tone for the rest of the hole, which is something I was looking for.
