3 wood suggestions

In the market for a new club. I picked up the r7 460 10.5 deg. driver with reg. flex. This club feels good. Today I went by a local sporting goods and they had the older V-Steel woods and mid rescue hybrids at a good price. Has anyone had experience with the graphite shafts in these clubs? I got the regular in the 3 and stiff in the hybrid 19 deg.. The 3 feels way to whippy. I have a moderate swing speed and tempo. Probably in between reg. & stiff. Wondering if they run a little on the flexible side. Anyone played the V-Steel stiff 3 and also the r7 steel 3? Comments about these clubs or any other brands that you guys could recommend?

Its kind of hard to compare clubs when you've never had a chance to hit them, I have never hit the R7's, but I did pick up the Callaway 3/5/7 X fairway woods, and if someone said I was only allowed to keep 3 clubs it definitely would be these three. Hard pack, long grass, doesn't make any difference to these clubs, and they really give the old egg a ride. Just my opinion...

3 Wood suggestion

Demo the Ping G10, they are long. Also, try the Sonartecs, they have good feel and long too.

Good luck.

Don't rule out the MacGregor NVG2 Fairway woods, also.

Sonartec and the Cobra fairways are also awesome.

Bang golf makes a really good fairway wood. The bang-o-matic, is made of titanium, and is a low profile head. Here's link to check it out Bang-O-Matic Fairway Wood

I liked the Cobras, Burners, Tour Edge Exotics, Cleveland XLS and Pings.

There's so many... try any of the OEM's (Big names brands) and you can't go wrong.
