Driver options for short people

I'm 5'4 and looking for a nice driver (RH). My question is about the lie angle. It seems that at address the head points too high up. From what i know the lie angle of a driver is not adjustable.

What kind of impact will this have on my swing since it doesn't square up right at address?

Technical and practical answers

Technically, on your downswing, the weight of the head actually forces the shaft to flex downwards, so that the toe of the club is closer to the ground than at address (hope that makes sense). In fact, I had my irons adjusted for the correct lie. Funny thing was, at address, the toe pointed up (just like you), however, when I swung, the impact point on the sole was nearer to the toe. So I had my clubs adjusted to 2* upright.

On a practical matter, this really shouldn't matter too much, since lie angle is more important when the club hits the turf, which you shouldn't be doing with a driver. However, there might be different results on mis-hits.

I wouldn't worry about it. I would rather focus on getting the right length and stiffness of the shaft for your swing.

shorter shaft with a bit more flex

Jack Nicklaus hit drives over 300 yards with a persimmon driver at 43 inches. If you at shorter I would suggest that you try a graphite A or R shaft cut to 44 inches and see how it feels. if it is too long trim another inch don't start out too schort because it is tough to add length without getting too stiff.
you want to be able to load the shaft in you back swing and as you start the down swing.
