Need advice on Driver

I would like your advice on a Driver. I currently have a Cleveland Hibore 10.5° driver. I purchased it when I decided to pick up the game about 1.5 yrs. ago. Now that I am improving in my game, I have become really uncomfortable with this driver for some reason. For about 5 months, I shelved it and just used my Nike Slingshot 2i hybrid. I recently started using the Hibore again, but still not feeling it. I want to switch drivers now to something for a intermediate player; something more forgiving. Therefore, I am looking to you for advice on the purchase of a driver. What do you guys think?

Telling someone what driver to go purchase is not a wise thing to do.
However, try before you buy is my advice. Ping's, the new Callaway Square (in even lofts, the face is closed on those models according to the Callaway Rep I spoke too) Cobra's are all fairly forgiving. I use an older Cobra Comp 454, if you can find one of those try it. That driver is just as good as any new driver on the market IMO. Also, TaylorMade Burner, they just brought out the draw model. If you tend to slice that driver will help erase that problem. Stay away from Titleist drivers, far less forgiving than other brands. Good Luck

I am just asking people's opinion and then going to Golfsmith or somewhere like that to try them out. I was just seeing what worked for people and giving me ideas of different drivers to try. What about the Callaway X460? What is you guys opinion on it? What I am looking for is something that feels good when I swing and gives me a little more consistency. It doesn't matter to me if I don't hit it 280yds. or more, just as long as I can keep the ball in play.

Purchased the Big Bertha 454 last year, and the Callaway X 3Wood and 5Wood. All the clubs have worked great for me. But IF I had the cash I would pick up the X 460 driver, everything I've read says it's middle name is forgiveness, and tons of distance.

IMO don't buy a Taylormade r7 draw. I bought one and it was probably the worst thing that I could do to my golf game. I've herd good things about the Taylormade Burner. I didn't really like the feel of the Callaway x460.

The Clevland Hi Bore is an extremlly forgiving driver. I say take some lessons and then go from there. However, if its equipment you crave look into the Square drivers from Nike and Callaway. They both have a really high MOI. Those two are the most forgiving clubs made. Their shape has actually cheated the USGA rules, but in a leagl way.
