Can also check and see if there's and online swap shop in your area, sometimes you can pick up good equipment at a very reasonable price. Once you get some clubs, decide what course you want to play, then find the club pro and invest in a couple of lessons. Costs a few bucks but believe me its better to have someone who knows what there doing show you how to hold a club, how to line up straight, and what clubs do what. People who just go out and try to play on their own usually ingrain a whole carload of bad habits that just frustrate and result in their giving up the greatest game ever invented. Good luck
