| Check out the newspaper buy/sell section Scott, see if you can find an inexpensive starter set. Can also check and see if there's and online swap shop in your area, sometimes you can pick up good equipment at a very reasonable price. Once you get some clubs, decide what course you want to play, then find the club pro and invest in a couple of lessons. Costs a few bucks but believe me its better to have someone who knows what there doing show you how to hold a club, how to line up straight, and what clubs do what. People who just go out and try to play on their own usually ingrain a whole carload of bad habits that just frustrate and result in their giving up the greatest game ever invented. Good luck
