| Stronger Grip helped me?! Why? I have a neutral overlapping grip. I’ve been having problems hitting my hybrids and woods with consistently – slicing them mostly and actually popping up the ball with the driver every once in a while.
But the other day I decided to change my grip with these clubs and have hit them straighter and more consistently – just like that!
I took a stronger grip with 3 knuckles showing on my left hand and the right slightly more under – not too much just a little bit more than my normal grip.
I still use a neutral grip with clubs 7i to the wedges but with the 6i to the driver I changed the grip and found more confidence with those clubs more than I ever had before!
So why does the grip change facilitate this more consistent ball flight in my swing?
