Exclamation New Orleans: caddie rakes sand trap player DQed
Who has information on the disqualification of a pro who's caddie raked a fairway sand trap. Was he disqualified on the spot or did he report the violation. has this regulation been challenged?

Forgive my ignorance but why would someone be disqualified if there caddie raked the sand?

This has something to do with testing conditions, thats all I know about the incident. I don't know who it was or what tourney it was, but it took place in New Orleans. I can't find any information.

well that is a bit of an odd rule fair enoughif it was in the bunker which his ball was is but it wasn't. Anyway you have love the way rule can be quickly changed.
