Brilliant golf played by the European boys 2day, they never gave up and putting/stroke play were brilliant. Very enjoyable first day and cheers BBC, for showing the highlights so we (ppl without Sky) can watch it 2!!

I've wondered what is it about the Ryder Cup that causes Tiger Woods to turn from unbeatable in all the Majors to an average golfer. If he has another bad Ryder Cup, from a European point of a view I'd still want him at the nxt one but from a US point of view is it really worth picking him or should he retire from Ryder Cup?

I have always thought that Sergio Garcia was the next Tiger Woods and he has proven me right thus far in the Ryder Cup.

Your kidding right? Tiger retire from ryder cup? Do you want the cup to go away? Tiger = DOLLARS...sponsers would pull out and it would not get all the hype. Sergio is great in the cup and thats it. He will never beat Tiger on Sunday b/c he doesn't have the guts yet. I don't even think he'll beat Phil on Sunday unless Phil beats himself...which is easy enough.
