All-Time Money Leaders on the Tour

Looking at the thread about the money leaders so far this year got me thinking about who has made the most money in golf so far (at least on the tour)?

Did a little checking around and found a list of the top 100 money leaders. Holy c*ap, I gotta start working more seriously on my game. I didn't realize these guys can accumulate so much, and this doesn't include any endorsement money, private tournaments, and any other tours they may be involved in. Why, oh why, didn't I major in golf in college

Here's the top 20 and a link to the top 100

1 Tiger Woods 58,255,844
2 Vijay Singh 46,641,878
3 Phil Mickelson 38,381,360
4 Davis Love III 32,909,948
5 Ernie Els 26,773,376
6 Jim Furyk 25,815,400
7 David Toms 25,041,178
8 Justin Leonard 20,764,676
9 Nick Price 20,430,058
10 Kenny Perry 19,766,233
11 Fred Couples 19,051,827
12 Mark Calcavecchia 18,884,599
13 Scott Hoch 18,487,114
14 Fred Funk 18,291,624
15 Mike Weir 18,103,761
16 Tom Lehman 18,040,113
17 Stuart Appleby 17,858,914
18 Chris DiMarco 17,502,048
19 Scott Verplank 17,455,498
20 Brad Faxon 17,305,929

That is a very motivating research, CanCaddy, makes us think, why didn't we start golfing at a very early age and get a chance to earn this much?

Thanks for the info!

That is crazy! I didn't know you could make so much money off of golf. I know you might get sponsored and other things, but 58 000 000$? Wow.

Its pretty amazing how much you can make playing a game. As deep said, the endorsements pay huge amounts also, so that's not that full amount.
