| Since you are a very good player and distance off the tee doesn't seem to be a problem, you would definately want a high spin ball. Not only will these give your approach shot more Tour sauce, but the extra backspin helps cancel out and sidespin you might put on it. Any of the balls you mentioned should work, but I would use the NXT Tours instead of the NXTs. Good luck straightening out those <130 shots!

| Eh... why not..
I'm 21, 5'10" 210lbs Lesbian
Avg Drive.. 300+ (power has never been a problem)
Hcp: 17
I've played off and on since I was about 11.
I can spin the ball as much as I need to. My problem is keeping things in line. With my big hack of a swing, a little misshit goes a long ways the wrong ways. lol
I used to play whatever titleists were the flavor of the month. Lately I've been playing Pinnacle Golds ($15 for a box of 15). Price isn't really a problem, but if two are comparable then I would go for the cheaper.

Just got a lesson........on video. I was breaking down on my right leg...poor weight transfer which caused me to hit behind on my irons...ugly....fixed it...so now I am drawing my irons....bombing away on the driver. Weaknesses: Approach shots....G.I.R....anemically low....decent chipper.
Looking forward to your input.

You can spin it as much as you need to. But if you play a ball with more backspin, it will help keep your 300 yd drive on line. High spin, soft cover ball.
Take your pick, all golf ball companies have one. I'm pretty sure Nike has a "control" ball for around 25-35 bucks for 15.

| Did you always draw your irons before? If not, just give it time. It's hard to force yourself to aim right if you've been hitting fades for a long time. If your low GIR is caused by distance control problems, do one of two thing: Spend 3 years in a secluded weight room in Siberia, come back looking like Schwartze******, and just drive every green and avoid "girly man" iron shots altogether; Or, spend some time with your irons on the range; get to know them a little better.
If your distance is fine but you still can't hit greens, consider hitting fades into the green. Intentional draws turn in to hooks easier than fades turn into slices.
If you like playing the Nike One's, keep playing them. They sound like the right thing for you.
Good luck!

| All right, Tiger...
I'm 20 years old, 6 foot tall and 155 lbs, right handed male, and just started taking golf seriously. I'm much more comfortable with my irons than I am with my woods and putter. I have a fairly slow swing in order to keep more control and my drives always slice but end up going around 180-200 yards, sometimes farther if they happen to go straight. I usually use a club that's one or two lower than the people I play with due to my slow swing. I've never bought a box of balls, as my dad used to live on the country club and would pick up tons of balls in his yard and around behind the house, so I just cleaned them up and used them. I'd like to keep under $20 for a box and my last round of nine I shot a 50. Any help would be great!
Thanks a lot,
Ryan

| Any of the mid-range Pinnacles or high-end top flites should be fine. Your wallet won't take a huge hit if you dunk one in a pond, but you wouldn't notice much of an improvement with 50$/dozen balls. If you improve and find that golf is becoming a serious hobby, try using some mid-range Nikes.
Good luck!
