Yeah same here i use the ball name to line up my putts and when i tee up i make sure the ball name is facing upwards to me

I use a red Sharpie and fill in 3 dimples in a straight line right above the logo. I always mark my balls for tournaments, and usually mark them for casual play too.

I don't put a line on my ball, and if using a recycled one that someone else has lined, I rotate the line where I can't see it. IMO, any line that I can put on a ball isn't long enough to do any good at all. I'm a good putter anyway, and the lines just screw me up. I line up to a spot about 2 feet in front of the ball, then hit that spot.

Exactly why I don't do it. I trust myself to stay true to my line without drawing it on my ball. Plus it looks tacky.
