The best Maxfli ball in my opinion is the BlackMax ball that feels soooo nice off the clubface

I play Pro V1X's exclusively now, I love the feel and control I have with them, I tried the Callaway HX Tour last year and it felt like throwing a super ball compared to the darts that were the Pro V's

My pick are Pro V1s... I generate a lot of speed through my swing yet I don't like the feel of the Xs as much as the regular Vs. They feel a bit hard for my taste. Although, I will say when I play a course where the greens are outstanding and I find myself spinning the V1s back 15-20 feet, I will change to Xs. As you all know, they will not spin as much therefore holding the green better.

Recently I have tried Bridgstone too, nice feel to this ball as well.

Cheers,
Allen

I never use pro v 1xs they cause me to lose distance and the same with HX Tour 56s they also do so i stick with either the HX Tour or the old original pro v 1s

Haven't had a chance to play the Pro V's yet, I've been using Top Flite XL 3000's this summmer, mainly because my daughter bought 24 for my birthday. Am using Noodle for this time of the year, tends to be softer in cold weather. I guess I'm gonna have to try the Pro V's to see what all the chatter is about....

You guys are all missing the point when it comes to what ball is the best ball. The best ball for you is the one that suits your game. Period. You have to try different balls under playing conditions to find out what is best for you. Just because a PGA Pro plays the PRO V does not mean that ball is good for you to play with.
A CPGA Teaching Pro once told me this "If your handicap is over 15 then any ball will be ok. Except the PRO V's because most people over with an index above 15 do not have the swing speed to properly compress the ball. If you are not compressing it then you will lose distance."

I for one do not play Pro V's. I can if I want but I prefer the NXT Tour. For me that ball suits my game, plus they are almost half the price of Pro V's. I know how far the ball flies with my irons, I know what it does when it lands on the greens and I know how it putts. All of that adds up to lower scores.

I have to disagree with you there as i mean come on everyone here would notice the difference and would porpbably play better with a pro v-1 compared to lets say a donnay each ball has its good points which are bound to improve your game
