Hey there,

Anyone ever played with the fireball? Is it legal?
I'm guessing the answer is "illegal" but wanted to double check. I was at a store the other day and saw these balls. They said on the box that they conformed to USGA & R&A rules. However, when I did a little surfing on the web, not only could I not find their website (listed as www.fireball.com on the box) I only found references to them as being illegal. Too small, too heavy.

Included in the box was the "Straight Stick", which was essentially a material that you applied to your clubs to make the ball go straighter. I *know* that's against the rules!

The reason I'm even asking this is that they're selling them up here for $16 a box, the profits of which allegedly go to charity.
