I've started golfing this summer after a few years absent and I've been looking to get some 2-piece balls mainly to help with my short game when I'm close to the green and driving distance. I do have a slower ball speed of around 80-90 mph but I like to keep the ball straight with very low spin.

I have right now the Srixon AD300 and tried out other balls this summer, so far the only balls I've liked were the Bridgestone E6. I want to get another brand of 2-piece balls but some cheap ones to play in case I run into water hazard or deep wooded areas. That way it won't cost much to replace them. Here are the one's I've looked at online that I'm deciding on:

Maxfli- Fire
Nike- SFT 2
Top Flite- D2
Wilson- 50/50
Titleist- DT SoLo

Well, I know it's easier to buy a few sleeves and try them out but I wanted to get some opinions here from those who already tried out these balls.

My ball of preference are the Callaway HX Hot and the Bridgestone e5s. I tried recently the Wilson 50/50 and I am definitely shifting to them. I like the feel better and the price is much lower.

Hello if I could may i suggest the Titleist HP LSS, I would suggest that ball because it is made just for lower swing speed like you said you wanted. But don't take my word for it read some of these reviews and see what you think Titleist HP Distance LSS Reviews at GolfReview.com

Try out the Nike power distance and the callaway HX Hot, both very good balls for the price. I find the nike softer.

I also find the NIKE Power Soft to be a good golf ball for the price. Good feel around the greens.
