Hybrids W/ No Offset Hey Guys,
I'm one of those golfers who is an equipment junkie...no I don't think I can buy a game but I am infinitely interested in different equipment. As of right now I am experimenting with a set of cleveland hibore irons, and even though I typically like the more traditional irons (Mizuno/Titleist) I am very impressed with these and will recommend these to my high handicap buddies and my senior pals that I play with and for the time being I think I'll keep the 3/4 hybrid irons in my bag but go back tot he MP-57's now after about 4 rounds witht he hibores just for kicks. I am however still searching for one that suits my game, something with a little more workabillity and less offset. Unlike most righties my BAD shot is a push hook not a slice with my preferred shot being a slight draw. So I'm looking for a hybrid with less offset and a square or maybe even open face....anything but closed. So far I have tried;
**Titleist 585-H
**Ping G-10
**Taylormade TP-Rescue
**Cleveland Hibore (felt I pulled the 2I to the left too much)
At the moment I prefer the titleist the most but just wanted your guys opinions on which ones work for your game (yes I know golf clubs are like shoes and what feels good for you probably wont for me) but I like to hear what other have to say and since most of my golfing friends haven't changed clubs in 20 years I'll ask you guys.
Thanks;
-AJ
