Big Bertha golf balls?

Hi anyone here used these?? curious - I currently use the Bridgestone E6's but wondering about the berthas as an alternative? my buddy swear they don't go as far as other balls - what do you guys think?? also - are the berthas similar to the hxhots also by callaway?? if this helps - I am an 18 handicap (falling thankgod) I drive the ball about 260-280 max and I swing around 93-94 mph. short game is my strong point - just figuring out how to straighten my drives now.

I too tried them out, they are a good distance ball but a little to hard for my tastes.

extremes

hey - have you tired the new titleist extremes- I have heard this is a good all around ball- long and more importantly good around the greens

Actually that's what I am using right now, if you want something with a little bit more playabillity (softer feel) take a look at the NXT Tours as well....the NXT extreme is longer though (so it's a trade off). I am starting to move away from titleist's though and playing the Biridgestones more and more.

yea I love the bridgestone e6 balls - so i gather from your last post that the nxt's are better around the greens then the extremes??

Well they are both under the NXT line, there are two balls the NXT Extreme and the NXT Tour; Titleist: Titleist Official Site: learn about Titleist golf balls, golf clubs and accessories. But yes in my opinion the NXT Tour does have better green-side manors than the NXT extreme.
