Can Anyone tell me where it states the spin produced by the ball when struck? for me so far its been trial and error and the trials and errors have been alot in this game

Golf Digest did a pretty good review on this recently. Pretty much, balls with a urethane based cover, get the best spin off wedges. Their tests showed that more or less all the balls they tested got low spin off the driver, with little marginal difference.

The top spinning balls off wedges in order were:
1. Bridgestone B330-S
2. Srixon Z-Star
3. Titleist Pro V1
3. Pro V1X
4. Srixon Z-Star X
5. Bridgestone B330


Keep in mind, these were done by a robot swinging a wedge. I play Callaway HX Tours, which weren't tested and HX Hot Bites. The HX Hot Bites placed 15th in their spin tests. I have played it and the Bridgesone B330-S in the same round and felt I got more spin with the Callaway ball. I'm sure each golfer's swing has a big impact on it.
