Hi, first of all this is my first post and sad that I am posting a negative review of a golf course.

So as the title say, I will NEVER EVER play at Laguna Seca again after the experiences that I went through today.

1. fairway is like a bare ground (which for $35 I can cope...)
2. Pro shop not too friendly (maybe the guys were having a rough day...)
3. 1 guy having a big mouth (i.e. 350yds 1on shot, blah blah blah) while scoring over 100 (just annoying...)
4. 2 older guys in their 50's that joined after first 9 only to tell me that "You Koreans are dumb that you have to shoot people to get your opinion out" for at least 9 times (after every hole in different ways)
5. That I am not Korean and am Japanese... (though my GF is Korean and I don't think she'll shoot me to tell me to do some house work")
6. Got too much on my nerves that I went into pro shop after 18 and the response from employees were "well, they are our members....". (So from my understanding, "if you're a member of golf course, you can make a racial annoying comment")

Only good thing was that "Dumb Asian" driving off with Lexus IS350 while "Superior White" drove off in Corolla.... wait isn't Corolla made by Toyota?

Once in a while we play with somebody we just don't along with, but I have never in my life played with disrespectful players and also the club employees. I will never play there again and will surely spread the word among local players/clients/friends.

Sorry for such a long and negative post but my frustration is not going down even after a long shower and a good dinner.

It sounds like it was your playing partners that made your round miserable, not the course itself.

Since I play for pleasure, customer service is equivalently important as the course condition. Course itself... well... it was just plain boring with lots of anjulation. Many par 4's were too short even from full back and I was able to reach 3 greens with my driver off the tee. Greens were fast but not tough if you're used to playing fast greens. Maybe the mood got me to think this way but I felt like I wasted $35 for a boring golf course with rude players(members)/employees.
