I got a chance to play at my first 'resort' type course a couple of weekends ago. It was also the longest course I've ever played!!! I started off as a single but then after my tee shot I was asked by the starter if two other ladies could join me so I said sure. They were both excellent players and were patient with my game.
It was such a nice change of scenary compared to the public courses I've been playing - the ladies and the course

. The fairways were nice and wide and I hit them 11 out of the 14 times I used my driver. It was a good driving day!!!
If you were too far left or right though, the rough was quite thick.
Last year we stayed at LaCosta and my wife and I always said, next time we'll play golf! So this year we learned but only I got to play. She was too insecure with her game.
I can't wait to play the North course next year!
