Back in the 70's, I lived in Jamaica and frequently travelled to Trinidad to do business with the Kirpalani Brothers, not to mention frequent trips for Lions Club conventions. My fond memories of Trinidad and Tobago should probably qualify me for a breathilizer test.

I'm across Florida in Miami - Give me a holler if you are headed this way sometime and we'll excavate some golf course together.

Yes, Trinidad is certainly a place where one could develop some fond memories, especially around February, eh ?

Thanks for the welcome. Were this a place where we could feel the thrill of a ball well rolled and heading inexorably toward the cup, it would definitely be a slice of heaven for me . Good to be with those who love the game as I do though...an assumption, but it's mine and I''m holding on to it until otherwise persuaded .

Be careful, I might just take you up on the invite. I'm heading for Boynton Beach tomorrow and should get in a round on Friday. I hope you have the opportunity for some white ball chase yourself.

This weekend isn't going to include golf. I'm currently in Raleigh, North Carolina and it's 35 degrees outside. On the other hand, I'm with my grandkids and that makes up for a lot!
