hello everyone im a beginner golfer from miami. I will be turning 17 in February. I've been playing for a few months just recently got my first set of clubs (i had been using my friends mom's old clubs). I'm not good at all but i consistently see progress which gives me hope. Now that i have my own clubs i can start practicing my short game in my yard. well thats about it

I'm in SW as well. between dadeland and the falls on the east side of US1. I only really play Granada and Briar Bay. Still working my way up to the mental fitness to play 18 holes. I have played the public course in Miami Shores and Biltmore once but thats all other then the two 9holes. Hoping to play palmetto over my winter break some.
Every time I see a "youngster" on the golf course, I figure I'm looking at one more kid who is going to grow up right and give us hope for the future. Golf has a funny way of doing that to you.
