Hi People

I have loved golf for ages and used to play a lot of small par 3 courses with my mates.

Until recently i have never had my own clubs and just borrowed my old mans.

I have just gotten a set of Lance Field Graphite Shaft LF401 (i think) and love them, even tho i had never heard of the brand before (they were a gift)

I have just started playing on a local public course here that is a par 70 with 18 tees and 9 greens (you play the same green twice but tee off from a different spot on the "back 9")

so far my best score is 92 after only playing three rounds.

i have played full size courses before but mainly a charity events my work was involved in and never really kept my own score as it was an ambrose event.

Looking forward to learning more about this great frustrating game.

wow - we're just about the same age.. I was born on the 16th of June that same year.

Don't worry too much about the sticky. When I frist signed up I posted my intro in the completely wrong section and I'm still around. ;-)
