Hello WildWilly. Enjoy the forum. Clubs are in storage now aren't they? Same here, I am in southwest Ontario Canada. But I did manage to play 27 holes this month!

On January 1 I played a 9 hole course in London ON. It is always open as long as there is not tons of snow. Then we had a warm spell and 4 local London courses opened up for the week of Jan.7. So we played 18 on the 7th. My home course was open but we did not play it as it would have been too wet, clay based. The course we played was fairly dry as it is sand based.
Nothing is open now, except that 9 holer in London.

I bought a snow blower and got it just after Christmas. I have used it once, yesterday. I really did not need to get it out but I wanted to try it. So I blew off 1 inch of snow from my neighbours and my driveway and put it away! Before Christmas we had about 6-8 inches of snow fall in two days and it warmed up, melted and I played golf on Dec.20

Exceptional winter weather even for this part of the country.

I am actually located south of London. When we had the big snow before Christmas I had 6-8 inches. A friend of mine at work lives on the north side of London, he had 2 feet of snow!
I am close enough to Lake Erie and far enough from Lake Huron that the snow squalls miss this area. Personally, I have no issues if I do not use that snow blower the rest of the winter

Hey Bill got to golf in January, that is a real bonus for that area of USA!
