Hey my name is Rich I am 22 years old and live in southern california. I have recently (about 2 months) gotten addicted to golf and am about to buy my first set of clubs and lessons, I am eager to play golf for the rest of my life because there is always something new to learn and there is always a new challenge in it, and I look foward to being a decent player one day.

Well welcome aboard Rich, always room for another golfer. You'll find the board friendly and very informal, so don't hesitate to jump in on any of the ongoing posts, or better still post some of your own. Lots of varied experience on the board from every country so its truly an international flavor. Again Welcome

thanks for welcoming me....and no my nickname doesn't have anything to do with the country group big and rich....I have had my nickname for about 15 years haha but I my friends have mentioned that band to me before.

Welcome to the forum and I am glad to hear that you fell in love with golf.
I also joined this form less than a month ago and people here are all great and helpful.
Make sure to keep up with the lessons to build a solid foundation for your swings and you will be a great player one day....=)
