Hello All,my name is terry,
I hail from oz,my h/cap presently 9
I be up front,I recently had been on local g/forum but due to one of the rudest, self opinionated, never been wrong types,I sought this forum out.
It was a shame too,as in general, most of the guys in the forum seemed really nice. One bad apple a.
Anyhow, moving on,I have had surgery on my r/ear in the last few yrs, since then i have a problem lining up,usually stance closed over, does anybody have a drill that could assist please,
TERRY
Welcome to the forum...I am sorry to hear that your right ear is causing problem in your game.
As for setting up the open or closed stance during the address, I put a golf club pointing towards the target in front my feet and I try to line up using that club.
After practicing on the range like described above, hopefully you will line up correctly in the field.
As for the other drill, best bet is to seek out a Pro in your area and tell him about your problem.
Sorry I can't be a much help...=(
Hi Terry welcome aboard, not quite sure what you mean by stance closed over, maybe a little more info would help...sorry to hear about the other forum, hopefully you wont have that problem here. The board here is quite international in flavor with just as many people from both sides of the pond, so any advice is truely international in scope. Again welcome
Thank you guys for the welcome, feel a part of it already
as for the other forum,"thats life". Finished now.
There is no guaranteed "fix",I,m just going to have to formulate some solution I suppose
The "other" forum that will stay un-named actually told me 2 things (1) alignment doesnt mean a thing (2) good players aim all over the place.I,m sorry, that doesnt gell to me.
Any thoughts.
TERRY
